VTV.vn – A girl with glass bone disease (Osteogenesis imperfecta) had helped disadvantaged people develop their abilities and lead their lives with confidence.
Ms. Quyen is a girl with glass bone disease from birth spent most of her childhood in the hospital. But with extraordinary vigor and the desire to change the status of herself and people with disabilities, she founded a company where people with disabilities can work equally and be more confident in their abilities.
Ms. Quyen was unable to continue her study because of her health condition, but the desire to create an ideal workplace for people with disabilities and the disadvantaged began to sprout in her when she received her first salary of VND 500,000 and the scholarship for female leaders in Australia in 2016.
Ms. Quyen and WE EDIT created an ideal environment for the disadvantaged to develop their capacity and move towards a more confident and equal life.
WE EDIT, which was founded by Ms. Quyen and her associates in 2018, provides graphic solutions. WE EDIT is currently the workplace of nearly 100 people, who earn a monthly income between VND 7 to 20 million.
Not only are suitable jobs created, free-of-charge training is also provided by WE EDIT to people with disabilities who want to work but have no skills before starting their job.
Going beyond the initial expectations, Ms. Quyen and WE EDIT created an ideal environment for the disadvantaged people to develop their capacity and move towards a more confident and equal life.
Few people knew that Quyen did not go to university nor earn a degree, and suffered glass bone disease, which made her feel hopeless about the future when she started looking for a job. Inspired by her own desire to integrate into the community and have a stable job to support herself, Ms. Quyen and her associates established WE EDIT to create an environment for the underprivileged to fulfill their dreams.
