Aus4Skills
The goal of Aus4Skills is to support Vietnam to access and use high level professional and technical knowledge, skills and competencies, to contribute to the country’s sustainable economic and inclusive development. The program also aims to deepen Vietnamese and Australian people-to-people and institutional links and therefore strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
Aus4Skills is managed by Tetra Tech International Development on behalf of Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) communication and promotion activities, including but not limited to conducting information sessions/provincial visits and monitoring enquiries on AAS on AAS’s mailbox, website and other social channels.
- Support the AAS selection process including but not limited to screening application documents for eligibility and compliance, supporting Assessment Advisers, providing logistical support for scholarships interviews.
- Support the Scholarships Manager to organise the Joint Selection Committee meetings, develop budgets, prepare payment requests, manage award variations and implement the Equity of Access funds.
- Liaise with and support candidates and awardees in other matters relating to application, selection, placement, mobilisation and on-award.
- Guide awardees on placement and mobilisation procedures, checking submitted documents and awardees’ records to ensure successful placement and mobilisation.
Selection criteria
- Undergraduate degree(s) in education or related fields.
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in project coordination/management or human resource development in an international development context.
- Solid experience in general office administration.
- High level of competence in office packages including MS Office Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, databases.
- Substantial experience in liaising with clients, developing and maintaining effective relationship with partners and stakeholders.
