Education and Times Newspaper – Logistics jobs have been growing steadily in Vietnam and receiving investment by the Government. Located in the very centre of the industrial zones and business activities of the Ho Nai Industrial Zone, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, the Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI) has distinct advantages in student enrolment and training for logistics jobs, ensuring high employability of their graduates. 

“We aim for training and providing highly skilled labour in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, contributing to the social – economic development and modernisation of Ho Chi Minh City in general and the logistics sector, in particular. The logistics sector is our focal industry for improving quality and relevance of vocational training and increasing employability and productivity of VET graduates until 2020 and the following period,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, Deputy Director of DOLISA Ho Chi Minh City

Dr Vo Thi Hoang Yen is founder cum director of the Disability Resources and Development (DRD), and a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City Open University. “How she can have seemingly endless time, energy and enthusiasm to work and contribute to the society?” is a common question raised in admiration by her friends, colleagues, and students. Students remember her for her engaging and lively lectures; colleagues admire her for her musical talent, and somehow, they forget a pair of crutches accompanying her every day.
