Australia supports postgraduate education on Human Rights Law in Vietnam

On 12 December 2017, the Australian Government launched its support for the School of Law of the Vietnam National University Hanoi, to improve the quality of the postgraduate program on Human Rights Law until 2020. This support, delivered through Aus4Skills - an Aus4Vietnam investment, aims to assist the School to become a leading institution in human rights education in Vietnam. Fourteen postgraduate scholarships were presented at the event.

Australia announces outcomes of Alumni Small Grants Scheme

On 22 September 2017, Australian Ambassador H.E. Mr Craig Chittick announced the Australian Embassy will provide over AUD 488,000 in grants for alumni, through the Alumni Small Grants Fund. The announcement was made during the “Welcome Home Ceremony” for nearly 50 Australia Awards recipients who have recently completed their studies in Australia.
